The funicular was built at Kakolanmäki, Turku, during 2017-2019. It was unveiled and opened to the public in May 2019. The funicular complements the public transportation service in Turku.
The cabin design process was divided into two separate projects: a preliminary ideation and the final product development, based on the manufacturer’s cabin module concept. The project received wide visibility in social and printed media.
We delivered: Cabin concept development for phases 1 & 2, Lay-out design, sketching, 3d-modelling, color & trim.
